This is a VIRTUAL GAME! It is delivered immediately to your email account to play. PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE PURCHASING:
One of our agents, Oscar, has gone missing back in time. He was on Blackbeard’s ship searching for a connection to the mysterious Mr. X, who has been attempting to disrupt time. We have it on good authority that Mr. X has planted something on the ship which will change history… but we don’t know what it is. We need you to row out to the ship while most of the crew are away in Charles Town. Find your way to the brig and break out Oscar. Then, you need to search the ship to find out what Mr. X’s plans were onboard. Be careful though… Blackbeard and his buccaneers could be back at any moment and if you are caught on board, you might just wind up walking the plank.
This is a “re-imagining” of our second box in the subscription, which was released in April/ May of 2017. If you have played this box, many of the puzzles in this game will be the same, though we have added a few surprises. Since the physical game of “Escape the Queen Anne's Revenge” was permanently retired in July of 2021, this digital game will offer new fans of Escape the Crate a chance to start the game from the very beginning.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What are the recommended ages?
Our games are designed to be at the same level of difficulty as an average escape room. Therefore, we recommend these games for ages 10+. Younger players have enjoyed playing with the help of adults, but the games are meant to be tricky.
- How many people can play?
We designed the game for 1-6 players (or as many as can comfortably sit around a small table. Our game runs itself, so it is perfect for SOLO players. If you are looking for a game for more than 6 players, we recommend buying 2 crates and racing against each other from different rooms to see who escapes first.
- Do I need to play games in order?
No. Each game is a complete adventure with a beginning, middle, and an end. Therefore, you don't need to play any games in order. Games were originally released in a series and they do have small connections within a larger story if you do decide to play them in number order, but it certainly is not needed.
- How long will it take me to play?
Most of our games take around 2 hours to complete. Most games are divided into smaller (hour long) chapters so you can split the game up into smaller sittings if you would rather.
Go to our game website HERE, find your game, and use the Welcome Letter inside your game to find the password to play.
